# How do I switch between companies?

Use Switch company in your avatar menu to open another company.

## On the web

1. ### Open the selector

   Open your avatar menu and select **Switch company**. Your available companies appear.

2. ### Choose the company

   Select the company you want to work in. Kinmu loads that company's dashboard.

## On the app

1. ### Choose another company

   In the app, tap the company name in the header, then select another company. The header updates after the switch.

## If you don’t see it

- The selector only appears when your account belongs to more than one company.

## Common questions

### Are my records combined?

No. The selected company determines the records and settings you see.

### Why is a company missing?

Ask its administrator to check that your account has access to it.

## Result

The company name in the interface matches the company you selected.
