# How do I set up QR clock-in for a location or team?

Open a location or team to download its QR clock-in code.

## On the web

1. ### Open the location or team

   Open **Locations** or **Teams** and edit the relevant entry. Its permissions and QR controls appear.

2. ### Open the code

   For a location, select **Location QR Code**. For a team, select **Team QR Code**. A panel shows its QR code.

3. ### Download the code

   For a location, select **Download code**. For a team, use **Download code**. A printable image downloads.

## If you don’t see it

- Your company needs the QR clock-in extension and you need permission to manage that location or team.

## Common questions

### Can I require QR clock-in?

Yes. Enable the QR restriction in the location or team's settings and save the changes. Read its scope before enabling it.

### Can I get the codes from Home?

Yes. The QR shortcut on **Home** opens the available location and team codes.

You have a QR image to print and place at the corresponding workplace.
