# How do I create a team and add people to it? Open Teams, select Add Team, enter a name and location, then save before adding members and administrators. Open in Kinmu: ## On the web 1. ### Create the team In **Teams**, select **Add Team**, fill in **Team Name** and **Location**, then select **Save**. The new team's edit screen opens. 2. ### Add members Open **Team members** and select **Add Members**. Select the people and confirm with **Add**. They appear in the member list. Adding someone from another team moves them out of that team. 3. ### Add administrators Return to the team details, open **Team administrators**, select **Add a new administrator to the team**, choose the people and select **Add**. They appear in the administrator list without changing their own team membership. ## If you don't see it - You need a management role with access to teams. If no location is available, create one first using the related article. ## Common questions ### Can this be the default team? Yes. In the team's edit screen, enable **Set as default team** and select **Save Changes**. Members without an assigned team join this team. ### Can I switch off the current default team? Its switch is disabled while it is the default. Set another team as default instead. ## Result The saved team has its members and administrators listed in their respective sections.
