# What can each role do?

1. ### Find the current role

   In **Users**, open **Edit user** and find **Role** in **Professional information**. The selector shows the person's current role.

## Company menus by role

Everyone has their personal workspace. The table shows the additional company menus for each role.

**Employee** has only the personal workspace. **Unit Manager** and **HR Manager** also have **Teams** and **Users**. **Location Manager** additionally has **Locations**. **Manager** also has **My company**. **Global Admin** has all these menus and **Billing**.

## If you don’t see it

- Menu access does not by itself grant every permission over every person. Team and location administrator permissions also matter.

## Common questions

### Who can open Billing?

Only **Global Admin**. **Manager** does not have access to **Billing**.

### Is changing the role enough to assign a team?

No. Assign the person in **Team administrators** or **Location administrators** too, then check their permissions.

## Result

The selector shows the person's current role.
