To be confirmed

  • Day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 26: It isn’t in the statute: it depends on the governor’s executive order for 2027, as in most recent years.

Who Missouri state holidays apply to

State holidays in Missouri are the days the state gives its own employees off with pay. They don’t bind private employers: whether your team gets these days off, and whether they’re paid, depends on your policy, your employment contracts or a union agreement.

Holidays that fall on a weekend

Missouri law moves a Sunday holiday to the Monday after, and the state personnel rule moves a Saturday holiday to the Friday before. The governor can add paid holidays.
