On this page

On the web

  1. Open your notification settings

Open My account Open in Kinmu and find Notifications. You can also find the notification switch in your avatar menu. The switch shows the current browser status.

  2. Enable browser alerts

Turn on Browser notifications and allow notifications in the browser prompt. Kinmu shows Notifications enabled when activation succeeds.

  3. Turn off browser alerts when needed

Turn the switch off and follow Manage in your browser to your browser’s site permission settings. Block notifications for Kinmu there. The browser permission is now disabled.

On the app

  1. Change the permission on your phone

In the mobile app, allow notifications when the operating system asks. To change that choice later, open your phone’s system settings, find Kinmu’s notification permissions and enable or disable them. Kinmu has no separate in-app notification preferences screen. The names of these system settings depend on your phone.

    Open in Kinmu

If you don’t see it

  • If you see Notifications are not available in this browser or environment., this browser or environment cannot enable notifications. If permission was denied, change the site’s permission in your browser before trying again.
